The Lakeland golf team traveled to The University of Idaho Golf Course on April 5. The team took 3rd place overall.

Senior Richie Thomas shot an 82 and placed third individually, “There were 30 mile-per-hour wins and it was 30 degrees. The wind played a huge factor, but we all adapted to it. We’ve all grown as a team since the last tournament,” Thomas said.

As for the rest of the boys: Brady Hannah shot 86, Tristan Chamness shot 85, and Kyler Gordon shot 95.

For the Girls: Kiley Kime shot 106, Jessica Thompson and Karsyn Miller both shot 120, Gabi O’neal shot 135, and Maddie Wiedenhoff shot 125.

The team will travel to Avondale Golf Course on April 15 for a tournament against the Couer d’Alene Vikings.
