The Lakeland Hawks wrestling team defeated Moscow 56-27 in a dual on February 8th.

Before the duel began Lakeland celebrated their five senior wrestlers- Devon Suko, Lucas Williams, Payden Wysong, Logan Lee, and Collin Kelly. All five went on to win their matches.

Devon Suko’s opponent was clearly outmatched, losing by pin in the first 30 seconds of round one.

Reilly Saxe pinned his opponent in the midst of a tough, hard fought match.

Lucas Williams pinned his opponent after successfully executing multiple takedowns. Payden Wysong pinned his opponent in yet another hard-fought match.

Logan Lee and Collin Kelly won by forfeit.

Lakeland Hawks wrestling will compete next on Feb. 19 at Lakeland High School for the district tournament.
