On April 28, the Lakeland Hawks tennis team played against the Lewiston Bangles.

The Hawks played a good match and had many people take home the win. 

Malika Warnick brought home a win in the singles, 6-3 6-1

The doubles matches also played very well.

Brady Manko and Brady Hanna played a tough match but came out with a dub in a tiebreaker going 6-3, 6-7, 10-4. 

Coach Tyler Jacobs said “Those dudes were playing like their pants were on fire, but are not liars.”

Maddie Hersh and Allison Rader also took home a win with big swag going: 6-2, 6-1

Ben Ryan and Cole Andres also worked a tough match. They went 6-3, 6-7, and won in a tiebreaker 10-7.

Coach Jacobs said, “Elle Brown, although lost her match in a tiebreaker she played some of the best tennis I’ve seen her play. She’s getting better and better each match and is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future.”

The Hawks’ next match will take place on April 30th against Coeur d’Alene high school.
