Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall/Autumn. The 4 seasons that everyone has experienced. Spring is probably the least favorite season because it is extremely bipolar and the weather doesn’t know what it wants to be.

Since Spring started, it has had many different moods. There were a few days where it was very warm and sunny, another few where it snowed and then it decided to rain.

Samuel Wilt, a Sophomore at Lakeland High School, states, “I would rather it rain over snow. Rain may be sticky but snow is way more cold and it hardens to the concrete and turns into ice which can make you slip or make driving difficult.”

Winter time is probably the worst season for high school students because most of them can drive. But in Spring it can be warm but it’ll rain and it feels disgusting.

What is one thing people hate about Summer though? Well, Summer can have it’s days where it is hot, like 90 degrees, and then rain or be cloudy and depressing.

There was a year where it was snowing a good 5 inches everyday in April, yes April. April is meant to have light rain to water the flowers and hydrate the plants.

Weather can have it’s good days. When it’s 90 degrees in the middle of July and you get some wind and rain but the skies are still, at the most visible, it feels extremely nice. One reason could be you are very far away from a lake and you’re sweating every ounce of water out of your body.

Thursday, April 8th 2020, Spring decided to have it’s mood swings. At 8am it was pouring rain and sleet until about 2pm that day. After about 3pm it was bright and sunny outside. Warm and it was the kind of weather that walking your dog would be appropriate.
