Mr. Dremann is a high school biology teacher who also teaches a semester of digital literacy. He started teaching at Lakeland High School in 2025-26 and has made an impact on many of the students at Lakeland in his time here.
Besides being a teacher, Mr. Dremann has a love for sports, he enjoys watching a variety of sports depending on the season, like football, wrestling, and basketball. He also spent some time before becoming a teacher at Lakeland High School coaching a football team, which he enjoyed doing. Other things he enjoys doing are playing video games like Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, one of his favorites at the moment, and other storyline games, or spending time with his family, usually on weekends.
Mr. Dremann’s family is a big part of his life, they helped encourage him to become a teacher, as most of his family members are in the field of education. Before becoming a teacher at Lakeland High School, Mr. Dremann student-taught in social studies and math at Lakeland Middle School and then graduated from the University of Idaho, where he majored in environmental sciences, as he loves learning about how the world works. Although Mr. Dremann is a biology teacher, he would also hope to teach history or social studies.
Becoming a teacher comes with ups and downs. The main reason he got into teaching was his teachers when he was a student at Lake City High School. They got him through difficult days in and out of school and pushed him in the right path, shaping him to be the person he is today. Being able to have a good relationship with teachers makes school less miserable to get through, especially how stressful high school can be. He wants to be a teacher to make a difference in his students’ lives like his teachers did with him. It’s important to him to have a good relationship with his students so they feel comfortable and are able to have personal conversations with him about school or home life.
This next year, Mr. Dremann wants to coach football, on top of teaching, as it is something he loved doing and being around.
One thing that Mr. Dremann lives by is something his dad always used to tell him.
“Don’t let the little things bother you because you can’t control the uncontrollable.” Mr Dremann.
