Walking into school where everyone looks like they are still asleep, half awake, bringing the morning shine to a dark nothingness
There’s a person that walks in and lifts the dark, brightening up the hallway and every classroom she walks into.
That bright star of a person is Serafina Aldrich.
Ask anyone who knows her; they will say how incredible she is and how everyone should get a chance to get to know her.
“She’s kind of like the sun she just brightens people up,” Mia Brown said.
Aldrich is that person everyone looks to to make their day so much better
Even if she’s not having a good day.
She still comes to school with the brightest smile on her face.
“I love how bubbly Sera’s personality is,” Jenna Hollis said.
Aldrich is able to make friends about anywhere she goes because of how truly kind she is.
Aldrich is also well known for her unique style. That truly makes her pop out in all the best ways.
Despite that she doesn’t like standing out at all. She dresses the way she does for herself and would weather people stare at her then having to hide who she is.
Many people don’t truly find their style until middle school or even until highschool.
For aldrich she was never afraid to express herself through her style.
Ever since elementary school, Aldrich has been obsessed with clothes, even wearing dresses or any elaborate outfit to school.
“Id describe my style as soulful, i love that my style isn’t only one genre,” Aldrich said
Shes a free-spirited person and puts a lot of how she feels into her style.
With the elaborate, well-thought-out outfits brings up the question,
How long does it take to put those things together?
If Aldrich is messing around with clothing combinations trying to find the perfect puzzle pieces for the next day.
“It can take up to two hours,” Aldrich said
While others might spend a couple minutes in the morning to find outfits or just throw on the first clean thing they see.
Everyone have those days that are harder as than others,
Getting up to pick an amazing outfit for that day is too much effort, and settling for a plain jeans and hoodie.
Yet when aldrich has those days, she still manages to pull it off.
Outside of school Aldrich likes to spend time with her friends and family.
When shes with her friends she enjoys going out and going on “side quests”.
The times Aldrich isn’t seen adventuring around town shes either in her friends car blasting and singing along to their favorite songs or bing watching some of her and her friends favorite shows.
“I feel like I’m living my teen years out to my full potential,” Aldrich said.
Still no matter what shes out doing, she brings the brightest energy, lighting up her friends with her.
“She’s one of the sweetest and most considerate people I know,” Madison Valli said.
“She always has a positive outlook on situations.”
Aldrich also likes to do crafts with her friends, such as chalk drawings on sidewalks, sketching, or painting.
She also enjoys painting with her family; family is a very big part of her life, and she enjoys spending any time she can with them.
Her family has a scheduled time once a month where they get together and do a fun craft or watch a movie.
During the fall months her and her family goes up into the mountains to go foraging for mushrooms and cooking them.
She also likes playing Monopoly even though her family isn’t the biggest fan.
Another think aldrich loves is archery shes been doing it every since she was young and loved it.
As life went on she started losing free time to do the thing that she loved but shes gotten back into doing one of her favorite things.
“I remember why it’s one of my favorite hobbies,” Aldrich said.
She loves being able to educate and share her hobby with anyone who wants to know more.
Another unique hobby that she has is foraging for plants
She can name almost any plant you point out and tell you exactly what it can do for your health, or whether it’s edible, medical, or something toxic
Learning about nature for Aldrich is a way for her to connect to the world on a personal level.
It gives her a sense of hope and security when things aren’t going the way she had planned.
For others, they might find that feeling in their favorite songs or late-night walks.
But for Aldrich, it’s the understanding of the world.
“It helps me realize the beauty in the world that gets taken for granted,” Aldrich said.
Besides all of that, it’s just a flat-out cool skill to be able to identify any plant she comes across.
