The Lakeland Hawks competed in the District Meet of Champions at Post Falls High School and took seventh overall out of fourteen teams.
Weston Saputski took first place in the boy’s 100-meter dash with a time of 11.29.
Saputski also took second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.69.
Lakeland boys 4×4 took third with a time of 3:40.95.
Kros O’Brien took 3rd in the pole vault with a height of 12’0 wrapping up all the boy placements for the day.
Starting it off for girls Sapphire Ruelle took first place with a time of 12.87 and also took second place in the 200-meter dash.
Maddison Chapple took second place in the 3200-meter with a PR time of 12:45.58.
Regan Wright, Melia Gilbert, Kartsyn Kiefer and Sapphire Ruelle set a Lakeland track record for the girls 4×1 with a time of 49.83 and the 4×2 took second place with a time of 1:47.55.
Ziya Munyer took second place in the triple jump with a leap of 34’2.
The Hawks will head to Coeur D’Alene on Thursday at 2:00 PM to battle it out in another district meet.
