Cascadia Pizza is a new restaurant that is being implemented in Rathdrum and Coeur D’ d’Alene. They also have multiple other locations in Washington, such as North Bend, Maple Valley, Bellevue and Enumclaw.
According to Cascadia Pizza Companies Website, the owners are Thomas Reindhart, Christian Buck, and Calvin Freatman, each of them is a native to Washington.
Freatman has many roles in Cascadia Pizza Co., but his favorite is always making pizzas.
Many have been excited for them to come down here. They are a small pizza business that uses both food trucks and restaurants to promote their business.
The truck is always popular with a lengthy line out front. It can often be found at Umpqua Bank by Rathdrum Super 1 or in the parking lot of Lancaster Market on Meyer.
However, the truck can struggle due to the constantly changing temperature inside.
“The truck is an absolute blast,” Raffi Peltikian.
They have 16 pre-made options for people to choose from. This excludes the three choices of woodfired bread sticks. 10 of the 16 pizzas are made with red sauces, and the other six have a garlic butter sauce base. Each of them is named after something related to Washington, whether it is Evergreen or a place in the state.
Each of them is hand-crafted and wood-fired, without any use of gas.
“We use only the highest ingredients and make our dough in-house,” Peltikian said.
They keep the fire running from morning to night on one hundred percent wood.
Peltikian, who owns the Rathdrum and CDA store, came here because his wife is a native of the area. They love it here and are so glad they had the opportunity to come here.
They make sure the environment of their establishment is always radiating with positivity.
“Our passion is our customers, our pizza and our people,” Peltikian said.
When you walk through the doors, you can tell the environment is upbeat and light-hearted.
“Our number one rule is to have fun,” Peltikian said.
They opened their restaurant in CDA and plan on opening the Rathdrum one in about a month. With it being on main street, hopefully, they will receive lots of business.
