The Lakeland Hawks (6-6) took down the Bonners Ferry Badgers (4-5) in a single game at home, continuing and extending their win streak to three. The Hawks meant business Monday night, shutting down the Badgers’ offense, and scoring at least one run every inning, including a five-run fourth inning.
Garrett Farrell started on the mound for the Hawks and it is safe to say he shut things down, striking out six in four consecutive shutout innings, which contributed heavily to their win.
The Hawks will take the field once again in a doubleheader against the Post Falls Trojans at home, on April 16, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
