Rylee Wirth, the name of someone intelligent, outgoing and a light in a dark room.
Being one of the captains of the cheer team at Lakeland High School, her job is to bring joy and positivity to the team.
“My senior year ending is so bittersweet, and I am going to miss everyone,” Wirth said.
Wirth was recently accepted into the competitive the North Idaho College (NIC) radiology program.
“The reason why I wanted my job to be healthcare is because I love to help people and be there whenever I am needed,” Wirth said.
After the program, she will work in a hospital and do x-rays.
For her junior and senior year, Wirth attended the Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC). She is in the nursing program that is offered there. She will also graduate from high school with her associate’s degree.
“Being accepted into the radiology program is super exciting, and I am so ready to start learning,” Wirth said.
Although her years at LHS are coming to an end, she is very appreciative of the memories and friends she has made during high school.
Wirth served as the cheerleading captain, which contributed to many of her high school experiences.
“My favorite part about being captain is having the opportunity to help everyone and answer any questions anyone has in different types of situations,” Wirth said.
She is empowering and a role model for new members of the team. She is fun to be around. She is someone who brings smiles to others’ faces.
“Energetic, happy and positive are three words I would use to describe her,” Skylie Miller said.
The coaches picked her as the captain of their team for a reason. She is always attentive to everyone and includes everybody.
Wirth makes everyone feel welcome and is someone that people look up to.
“My favorite memory with her is probably recreating a photo from state last year, with her this year,” Miller said.
