The Meyer market has finally opened. This new money market has many different parts, which include a convenience store with refueling stations, a drive-thru coffee stand and an attached brewpub and wine bar.
The pub also has indoor and outdoor seating.
After the planning and zoning were approved on May 27, 2021, the construction of the market started.
This gas station was put right into a neighborhood and can make it more convenient for families to get a quick snack or even to fill up their tank before the day.
“It is nice to have it so close to where I live. That way, I do not have to drive all the way into town,” LHS student Mia Marquez said. “It makes a huge difference, though, in that it makes the roads surrounding it more busy.”
There is also a winery attached, along with a pop-up coffee stand that will surely get good business from all of the LHS students needing caffeine in the morning.
“It does make it nice that I do not have to drive to the supertown to buy basic groceries or anything else that I might need,” Marquez said. “They also have a really good Icee machine, a hot chocolate machine, coffee and those milkshake machines. It also makes it better knowing that the gas prices are pretty reasonable, too.”
No other gas stations or convenience stores near these neighborhoods make the new market more convenient than most.
Inside the store, it is an open area, and the liquor that they sell there is kept in a glass storage in a corner, so it leaves the rest of the store open and clean.
The liquor is actually in a glass storage in a corner. It is clean and open.
The market officially opened on Dec. 30 and has already seen an influx of customers.
