“I don’t really care about popularity, but I love having a lot of friends. I like to wave at them in the halls, smile at them, bring them food, and give them compliments. I find it really important to be kind to people. You never know what others are going through. I think back to when I was younger, I used to get bullied because of the way I dressed or because I did not want to play the same game as somebody else, and it was really sad because I felt like I had no one. That is not a good feeling at all, and I want other people to feel like they have somebody they can talk to. I always make sure to be kind to my friends and even to people I don’t know. If I sit next to someone new in class, I make sure to introduce myself and talk to them. I just feel like being kind to somebody is way less work than being mean, and it can make a positive impact too. We need more nice people in this world.”
