“Sometimes I think back to when I was learning how to ski when I was six years old. I was in ski school. The lady always made us this nasty mac n cheese and soggy dino-nuggets when we came inside. Regardless of this, the experience of being able to ski down a mountain was exciting to me, and I have continued to snow ski ever since. In fact, it is something that I enjoy most in life and am really looking forward to doing this winter. Some other things that I am looking forward to include basketball and baseball this upcoming winter and spring. I have participated in these sports for as long as I can remember, so they are a huge part of my life. I like to play sports because they are a way for me to “escape” the outside world by participating in something I love. I think it is important for everyone to find something they love that inspires them to be a better person. For me, that is sports. For others, it may be nasty mac n cheese and soggy dino-nuggets. Whatever floats your boat.”
