Humans of Lakeland: Jade Freitas

The Humans of Lakeland features members of the LHS community. This is the eleventh in the series.

“I went to nationals for Business Professionals of America (BPA) which I really enjoyed.  It is a competitive event that seven Lakeland students were able to attend.  There are many different categories such as leadership nationalism, spreadsheets, and acts of kindness.  I ranked first place nationally, and scored the highest certification that Mrs. Nelson has ever seen; so, overall, I feel like I did well.  I love being a part of BPA because the community is really nice and it is fun to get dressed up and compete.  My favorite part was getting to go to Disneyland.  I plan on doing BPA again next year as president of the club.”
