First Confirmed Covid Case in Lakeland

Lakeland High School had its first confirmed COVID-19 case of the 2021-22 school year.
On September 14th, students and teachers received an email from Trent Derrick, the principal at Lakeland High School. The email contains a letter outlining that Lakeland has its first COVID-19 case of the year.
The letter advises that parents and students watch out for symptoms of COVID-19, as symptoms can appear 2-14 days after exposure. If anyone who is feeling ill in any way, stay home and rest up.
