Students and people in town have expressed their excitement about the opening of their favorite pizza place in Rathdrum. Westside Pizza is a local restaurant many people know and love and now have access to closer to them.
Westside Pizza, among its other local competitors like Tara’s Pizza and Cascadia has the potential to override both in sales and the quality of their food.
Westside Pizza uses more fresh ingredients unlike some other large pizza chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut, making it an overall better option. Not only are you supporting a local business when you buy from Westside Pizza, but also doing a small favor for your own health.
Westside Pizza takes serious pride in the quality of their food, opting out for frozen & processed foods for fresh ingredients. Westside Pizza always makes their pizzas with fresh dough, vine-ripened California tomato sauce, savory meats, freshly grated mozzarella, and toppings piled higher than you could know. Sofia Holan, a current employee at Westside Pizza will soon be working in the Rathdrum location when it opens up. Holan is in charge of assembling and cooking the pizzas and sometimes even gets to work the cash register.
Holan claims that it is a great work environment for people of all ages due to having many employees around her age and others that are well into adulthood. She even says that it is even a great place to get a first job like she did, taking her in with having no job experience. Holan is able to confirm that Westside Pizza uses fresh and good quality ingredients because she works with them every shift.
“I really like the pepperoni pizza. I like that I know the pepperoni and the dough isn’t coming from the deep freezer,”Holan said.
Westside Pizza knows the quality of their food and if a customer is not 110% satisfied with their order, they can get a guaranteed refund but really that is unlikely to happen at Westside Pizza.
According to Westside Pizza, “We’re not just in the pizza business—we’re in the people business, too.” Westside Pizza is open to doing fundraisers and working with locals to make a change in the community or for a good cause.
Avah Clark, a student at Lakeland High School says that Westside Pizza is one of favorite local restaurants and her parents get it for dinner probably one night out of every week. She claims her favorite food items to get there are the “Primo Pesto” which includes Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms & Garlic on a Creamy Pesto Sauce topped with their Signature Parmesan Blend and the “Raspberry Blasters” which are made from fresh dough, stuffed with a Raspberry filling, and served with our signature frosting.
“I just like how my order at Westside is something that I can’t get anywhere else,” Clark said.
The new addition to Westside Pizza in Rathdrum is an exciting opportunity for all the citizens of the small town. Westside Pizza will definitely thrive easily with the people of Rathdrum getting a new place to eat. The small building turned into Westside Pizza nestled between the local restaurant Fish On and O’reilly Auto Parts will definitely be packed with business within the next week.
