Nacho Fries.
A delicacy at Taco Bell that randomly shows up on the menu and randomly gets taken off.
“I am very happy they are back on the menu,” Avah Clark said, “It is annoying when they keep leaving then coming back. They should just keep them on the menu.”
As of Oct. 16 they got added back to the menu. When the snack is back it gets ordered fast. Many do believe that it should not be taken off the menu.
“I believe when they take them away Taco Bell makes more of a profit,” Shariece Vandever said, “They taste good, they are nice and cheesy. It makes me very happy they are back, I am excited to eat them.”
From a business standpoint they could believe it keeps people on their toes.
When the fries first came out in 2018 they sold over 53 million orders in five weeks. That is a huge profit for Taco Bell, increasing the customers that they are getting. They became the most successful product launch ever.
“The flavor and the seasoning is good, They are a very quick and filling snack to grab,” Clark said.
Their excitement could be kept because they are only on the menu for a limited amount of time, so the anticipation of when they are coming back is exciting.
The prices of the fries vary from $2.50-$5.50 depending on the location.
They come in a regular and large size. The fries are coated in their nacho seasoning and come with a side of nacho cheese.
The fries might come and go but they are loved. Whether it is a boost in sales and that’s why they go away, hopefully they will always return.
