The Lakeland Golf team has had a stellar season this year. The girls tied for sixth in state.

“I played really good in the practice round. I shot 3 over on the front nine in the first round. I shot five over on the first day. The greens were also really fast,” Zachary said, “On the second day I hit a ball into a sprinkler head and it sent my ball 30 yards back. And I also hit a ball over a tree and into the green and got a par. It was fun, I also putted really well the second day, too.”
This tournament truly showed how well focused an athlete Zachary is, a hard working student of the game that has now seen his work pay off for himself and also his team.
