After high school, Bennett aspires to attend Lewis and Clark State College (LCSC) to become a middle school earth science teacher.
Science has been Bennett’s favorite subject since it was taught to her. With her love for helping and goal to inspire, teaching is where her heart lands.
Bennett has spent these last 3 years creating a healthy circle of friends and staying involved in school.
Joining Business Professionals of America (BPA), Bennett has created many memories and it has become one of her favorite parts of high school.
“She is the kindest friend I have” Olivia Villa said, “she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.”
Bennett joined BPA freshman year with Villa. These past 3 years, Bennett participated in events such as the economic research team and medical billing and insurance. For her last year, she plans to join the podcast production team and is ecstatic to get her senior chords. With BPA and school, Bennett has created easy tactics that help her stay on top of her work.
“BPA is an in school club, so I don’t have to do much outside of school besides traveling for regionals, state and hopefully nationals. I just talk to my teachers and get work done before I go,” Bennett said.
Bennett is thrilled to be out of high school, but is sad to leave the place she has been going to for years.
“My favorite part of high school is realizing that it’s not as scary as people made it sound,” Bennett said, “I also enjoy the memories such as battle for the pattle, homecoming, and my friends”
Bennett has made memories here at Lakeland that she will never forget. As she nears the end, she is soaking up the last bits of her high school experience and is excited to move on to the next chapter of her life.
