The Lakeland Hawks soccer team tied 0-0 with Lakeside Eagles on Sept. 23. at Corbit Field.
The Hawks had good connecting passes and had lots of movement throughout the game.
They kept fighting for a goal until the last second but had no luck scoring.
Defense did well holding the eagles to not be able to score.
“Karstyn was the key to when we were down, she brought all of the energy back when we needed it the most,” Natalee Rose said, “It was a great lesson to learn how to work as a team, but still have fun at the same time.”
Although the Hawks tied, they were having the most fun they could for senior night.
“It was a fun senior night even though we ended in a tie,” Marisa Evans said, “The support for our senior night and the feeling of playing under the lights was the best part of the game.”
The Lakeland Hawks are now 5-3-2. They will play at home on Sept. 25 vs Lewiston Bengals.
