Lakeland Hawks volleyball was on fire in their recent game against the Moscow Bears.
The Hawks came out swinging and didn’t stop until the final play. A final score of 3-0 for Lakeland, an absolute dominant performance.
The Hawks have a great team all around but every game there is always an athlete that stands out. Last games athlete was Alyssa Ryckman, she led the team in kills with a whopping 41 so far in this season.
Senior,Ryckman, had been all around the court all season, averaging 3.1 kills per set and also having a .182 hitting percentage.
The Hawks are 3-3 so far this season.
Their next game is against their biggest rival, the Sandpoint Bulldogs.
Everyone will have to be playing at their best, and Ryckman is gonna continue to fly around the court doing whatever it takes to help her team win.
“No matter the challenge, she is always encouraging and supportive,” Emma Beaty said.
Rising to the challenge is exactly what you want from a senior leader like Ryckman. Teammates see it and so do coaches.
“Shes so talented and builds everyone up no matter the situation” Beaty said.
