These days some people buy trucks just to modify them.
Trucks have come a long way from when they first came out.
Back in the day people just used trucks for construction, farming, and driving down dirt roads.
People rarely modified vehicles back in the day but now it’s a trend to mod your vehicles.
- Wides, People are putting super wide wheels and tires on their trucks. One of the most common sizes of wheels and tires today is a 23 by 13 wheel 23 being how tall it is and 13 being how wide it is.
- Massive lifts, People are putting 10 inch lifts on their trucks. A 10 inch lift is too big of a lift,
- Wheels rings, wheel rings are LED lights that go around your rotor behind the wheel. There is no specific purpose to these except the fact that it’s just a light but people think it makes their truck look good.
- Hood stacks, a hood stack is when your exhaust comes out of the hood instead of going out the back of the truck. Hood stacks are also a form strait pipes meaning no muffler
- Painted frame/ suspension. People paint their frame under the truck to match the truck or as a second color. They paint the suspension and axles the same color as the frame.
- Tinted windows and windshield. People will get 5% tint on all windows on the truck including the windshield, a tinted windshield is illegal in all states.
- Train horns. People think that their horns aren’t loud enough. Most train horns on the market are so loud that they need ear protection.
In my opinion some of these modifications are not very cool.
If you have a truck it’s to be used for work, off roading, and to haul things.
So if you’re buying a truck just to do “viral mods” buy a fast car.
Cars are better to do “viral mods” than a truck, and are also faster.
Buy a truck to make it look good and put a little 4 inch lift kit on it so it’s still functional.
