The Moke is a practical car with a unique design.
Now on the surface the Moke doesn’t seem like anything much, it’s too slow to be a road car but is road legal, and is not the most comfortable seating arrangement.
The one thing that this little beast excels at is being the perfect golf cart, it’s got plenty of space for clubs and a passenger, and it’s fast enough that it can whip around the course like a little mini military Jeep.
“I love how cute it looks, it’s like a baby Jeep,” Emma Wise said.
Another thing that it will excel at is getting people around small areas like private islands or large properties, if there is too much distance for a walk and it’s too short of a drive in a regular car then the Moke is the perfect option, it gives a nice scenic ride with room to enjoy the vehicle.
Going for a base price of $25,000 to over $36,000 the Moke definitely is not a cheap option but is sure to be the most enjoyable option.
The power the Moke makes with its 12 kWh lithium battery can reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour for up to about 75 miles with the upgraded battery. It may not seem like it’s all that fast but the speed feels different when you’re in the car, all the instant acceleration that comes from it being electric and the wind blowing in your face, it just feels fast although it may not be.
“It’s a little too expensive for my tastes but I guess it’ll be fine for someone who has a lot of money,” Jon Evans said.
The Moke does not only do well in the speed category, it excels in audio quality too, with it has brand new speakers that connect to a bluetooth radio so you can blast your music down the course.
The 2024 Moke is a new updated version of the same one from the 60s, they look almost identical with only minor differences, depending on the generation of Moke you could get it with a 900cc engine all the way to 1300. As well as the audio and quality aspect there is not much difference.
My personal experience driving one around is that it does get a little cramped, especially in the back, and you’re going to want to only drive it in the summer or at least live in a place that’s warm all around. It is definitely fun to drive around, feeling the wind in the hair and it’s maneuverable as all else which makes it feel like a road legal go kart.
