The Marvel universe has dominated the superhero movie genre, but since the ending of Thanos and his army, what is next for Marvel? There have been lots of theories about who the next villain will be for the upcoming movies. 

Aside from the villain, there is a sea of Marvel movies coming to theaters in the next 2-3 years.  Black Widow is coming out this July and the movie focuses on the past of the acrobat superhero. 

A mysterious Marvel movie has just released its trailer, it is called Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which will be released on Sep. 3. This movie trailer was very weird because it did not look like a regular Marvel movie. 

The next movie will be Eternals which will be released on Nov. 3, there is no further information about this movie. 

The most hype movie of the year has been Spider-man: No Way Home and this movie will have all the spider-men in one movie, and the villain is unknown but there are rumors that all of the spider-man villains will be in the movie. This movie will be released on Dec. 15. 

Dr. Strange had a strong following when it first came out. This leads to the next upcoming movie, Dr. Strange in the Multi-Verse of Madness. This movie will play deeply into the Marvel story and will be released on March 22, 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be the next Thor movie, and it will be released on May 6, 2022. 

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be to “honor the legacy” and Marvel said that they will not recast the role since the sad passing of Chadwick Boseman. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released on July 8, 2022. 

Captain Marvel was a key movie to the storyline of the Marvel movies. The Marvels is going to be a sequel to Captain Marvel and will be released on Nov. 11, 2022.

Everybody has imagined turning small as an ant, and the Antman movie brought that to life. The third movie will be Antman and the Wasp: Quantimania and will be released on Feb. 17, 2023.The classic, throwback movie that everyone loves is coming back as Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 and will be released on May 5, 2023. Thor is rumored to make an appearance in the third movie. It will also be the last Guardians movie, but the director James Gunn said, “It will be an epic conclusion.”
